Pictured above are the students and teachers at the Roadman School circa 1908, which was located near the present Airport Road in Clay County. The male teacher pictured is McClain JOHNSON, the oldest brother of Wm. Jasper JOHNSON, father of the three Johnson children pictured. Roy JOHNSON is standing on the far right and Forrest JOHNSON is on the left. They are the boys in dark shirts with white suspenders. Their sister, Myrtle JOHNSON, is the 3rd girl from the left in the first row of standing children. Their parents were Wm. Jasper JOHNSON and Hattie Ann RISSLER JOHNSON. If anyone knows the names of the other teacher or children, please contact the Clay County Genealogy Society.
